Description

This is an authentic Japanese Tetsubin, cast-iron kettle with Arare texture from mid. 1900's. 

Arare texture has raised dots because this texture makes the hot water stay warm.

Tetsubin comes with a pouring spout, a lid and handle crossing over the top, used for boiling hot water for drinkng purpose, such as for making green tea.
