Japanese Sakura Bark Letter Box (23O-277-2)
This is an authentic Japanese Fumi Bako, letter box from late 1900's.
It is made of sukura, cherry bark which is famous craft in Kakudate in Akita prefecture. Known as the famous craft of Kabazaiku, it requires much time and patience to produce art objects of this quality.
This stunning examples features quarter-sawn solid cherry wood in different grains.
It will be a great home decor.
