Description

This is a vintage Japanese fine Sudare, screen/ blind / Misu from late.1900's.

Sudare is used to block sunlight and keep privacy but still allows breezes to pass through.

It is made of horizontal slats of natural bamboo woven together with simple string. It could be either rolled or folded up out of the way using the hook.
