This is a vintage Japanese Tsuitate, a room divider with mirror dated Showa 3 (1928). It is made of Zelkova wood (Keyaki).

One side with mirror on top has some carved writings which mean Oki Masamune was purchased by Ministry of the Imperial household and the center writings in gold is Oki Masamune. Oki Mamasamune is a famous sake brand from Yamagata prefecture.

Ther other side has writings which means that it was a gift from Atami Hakone Gyosei Yukai to Yamagataya liquor store who selles Okino Masamune Sake. Lower writings are names which are the members of Atami Hakone Gyosei Yukai.

Tsuitate were typically used in a Japanese room to separate groups of people.  Considered a privacy wall, people would extend the screen with an invisible wall that acts as a make believe sound and physical barrier so that what happens on each side, stays on each side.  It will be a nice home decor.
