This is a vintage Japanese clay mask called Tengu from early Showa period (1920's-1940's).

Tengu is a legacy creature, long nose and red face found in Japanese folk region and the mask is originally used for Noh theater play and is believed that it frighten bad sprits and bring a good luck.

It will be a perfect collection.
