Vintage Japanese Shinto Shrine Yashiro Omiya Kamidana (23O-310)
This is a vintage Japanese home Shinto Shrine called Yashiro, Omiya, or Kamidana from early Showa period (1920's-1940's).
This was hand crafted in nice detail and comes with figurines of Ebisu and Daikoku from 7 Japanese gods.
Shinto shrines were often used in Japanese homes to present offerings to the Gods. Large Kamidana can also be seen in neighborhood corners where residents and families donated to the construction and placement of these shrines for all to worship and enjoy.
This will be a great accent piece for your home.
