This is vintage Japanese Ranma, transom with beautiful geometrical design which can be displayed from any angles dated Taisho period (1910's-1920's). 

Transoms are used for ventilation and lighting above sliding doors between Nihon-ma, Japanese room. 

It is ideal for bedroom headboard, as a picture in your living room.
