Description

This is a vintage Japanese 2 section Kimono Tansu called Isho Biraki Kimono Tansu from Taisho Period (1920's-1940's). It was made using solid 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood.

The top section has four, thinner large size drawers, while the bottom section has three large size drawers. 

Separating the sections allows for placement in different rooms which adds to the versatility of these chests.
