This is a vintage Japanese 2 section Kimono chest called Kannon Kimono Tansu from Taisho period (1910's-1920's). It was made using 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood.

The top section houses some sliding out trays behind the hinged doors and large 3 drawers on the lower section.

Originally used to store Japanese Kimono. With various size of compartment, you will be able to store plenty of clothing or cloth fabrics in this Japanese tansu piece.
