Description

This is a vintage 2 section stacking Japanese clothing chest called Kasane Isho Tansu from Taisho period (1910's-1920's).

It was entirely constructed in Paulownia wood (Japanese Kirinoki) and backings on the handle have elegant ivy design.

Originally used to store Japanese Kimono, it is very simple and will be easy to blend in any home decor.
