Vintage Japanese Cha Tansu Tea Chest 2 Section (23F-C21)
This is a vintage 2 section Japanese Tea chest called Cha Tansu from early Showa period (1940's).
It is made of Horse Chestnut (Tochinoki), Paulownia (Kirinoki) and other woods.
It features glass on its main display doors, a mini Tokonoma (tea ceremony alcove), a pair of sliding doors, and a complementing display stand that represents clouds in the sky.
In your living room, the combination of shelves, drawers, and sliding drawers make it perfect for wine glasses and other entertainment accessories for when you have company over.
