This is an authentic Japanese Tetsubin, cast-iron tea kettle pot from late 1900's.
Tetsubin comes with a pouring spout, a lid and handle crossing over the top, used for boiling hot water for drinkng purpose, such as for making green tea.
The lid has unique house shaped knob and the body is decorated with ivy.
