This is an authentic Japanese Tsubo, pot, Jar from late 1900's.

This pottery is from Hagi kiln.Hagi-ware is traditionally originated from the town of Hagi in Yamaguchi prefecture and distinguishiing feature is its simples shape, subdued colors taken from the texture of the earth.

It was made by Yanagawa pottery, artist Sadao. It comes in an original wooden storage box.
