This is a vintage Japanese Haribako, sewing box from Taisho period (1910's-1920's). It is made of Japanese ash (Tamonoki), Horse Chestnuts (Tochinoki),Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood. The Ash grain provides visual movement and beauty to this treasure. 

The compact size and combination of drawers makes this piece a great addition to your room.

It is good for storing small work items of your accessories.
