This is a vintage Japanese Haribako, sewing box. It is made of Kaki (persimmon) and Kiri (paulownia) wood. It is very rare that the whole exterior is made of only Persimmon which shows incredible wooden grains. Its age is from the Taisho period (1910's-920's) .
The compact size and combination of drawers makes this piece a great addition to your room. It is good for storing small work items of your accessaries.
