Vintage Japanese Multi Drawer Chest Hikidashi Tansu (23O-G226)
This is a vintage Japanese multi-drawer chest called Hikidashi Dansu from Taisho period (1910's-1920's). Constructed of Cryptomeria (Suginoki), Zelkova (Keyakai) and other woods.
It might be used as a merchant filing chest to keep track of invoices and other business related documents since there are 12 narrow drawers.
All of the brass hardware is original to the piece and the case was constructed well, so it is very stable. It is perfect for socks, T-shirts for your bedroom.
