This is a vintage Japanese Ranma, wooden transom panel with natural wood from mid.1900's.
Transoms are used for ventilation and lighting above sliding doors (Fusuma) between Nihon-ma, Japanese room.
This ranma is very rare because it is very wide. This simple beauty can be displayed from any angles and ideal for bedroom headboard, as a picture in your living room.
