This is a set of 7 vintage Japanese Kiridame wooden lacquered food storage boxes from the Taisho period (1910's-1920's). Crafted from lightweight yet durable kiri wood (Paulownia), each box is designed to either nest inside one another for space-saving storage or stack securely on top of each other when in use.
