Description

This is a vintage Japanese 3 section Kimono Tansu called Isho Biraki Kimono Tansu from Taisho Period (1910's-1920's). It was made using solid 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood.

The top section has a pair of sliding doors with three small drawers below. The middle section has three thinner large size drawers, and the bottom section has two large size drawers.  

Separating the sections allows for placement in different rooms which adds to the versatility of these chests.
