Description

This is a vintage Japanese 3 section Kimono Tansu called Kamo Tansu from the 1970s. It was made using solid 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood.

The top section has a shelf and small, hidden compartments behind a pair of sliding doors and three small drawers beneath. The middle section has three thinner, large size drawers and the bottom section has three large size drawers. The handles are adorned with a beautiful, natural design.

Separating the sections allows for placement in different rooms which adds to the versatility of these chests.
