Description

This is a vintage Japanese 3 section Kimono Tansu called Isho Biraki Kimono Tansu from Taisho Period (1910's-1920's). It was made using solid 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood.

The top section has a pair of sliding doors and three small drawers underneath. The middle and bottom sections each have two large size drawers.

Separating the sections allows for placement in different rooms which adds to the versatility of these chests.
