Description

This is a vintage Japanese 3 section Kimono Tansu called Isho Biraki Kimono Tansu from Taisho Period (1920's-1940's). It was made using solid 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood.

The top section has a pair of doors, two small drawers to the right of them, and three small drawers underneath. The middle section has two shallow drawers, while the bottom section has two large size drawers.

Separating the sections allows for placement in different rooms which adds to the versatility of these chests.
