Description

This is a vintage Japanese 2 section Kimono chest called Kimono Tansu from Taisho period (1910's-1920's).  It was made using 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood.

Upper section has a large compartment with sliding trays which is ideal to store linens, sweater and shirts and lower section has 3 drawers.

Originally used to store Japanese Kimono, it would work well in today's home as a clothes dresser or linen cabinet for daily use.
