Vintage Japanese Bamboo Basket for Kimono (23O-404-1)
This is a vintage Japanese bamboo basket box from Early Showa period (1920s-1940's). It is originally used to store folded kimono so it is shaped in recutangular.
It is beautifully woven, and evey strips are very tight without open space so it is very durable and strong. It has great patina, ideal for obi, fabric, paper, artworks.
