Description

This is a Japanese 4 panel room portable divider / partition / free standing screen called Tsuitate from mid.1900's. 

Frame is made of cypress (Hinoki) wood and bamboo in natural color which is easy to blend in any home decor. Every wooden panel has nice cut-out designs and screens have beautiful patterns from natural bamboo textures.

Imagining a large Japanese room or shop filled with people sitting on Zabuton cushions on the floor surrounding tables, this divider was used to separate people for privacy.

It can be folded flat for convenience easy storage.
