Japanese Tsuitate Divider 4 Panel Screen (23O-344)
This is a Japanese 4 panel room portable divider / partition / free standing screen called Tsuitate from late 1900's.
It is made of cypress (Hinoki) wood and bamboo in natural color which is easy to blend in any home decor. The top panel has nice design of bamboo leaves.
Imagining a large Japanese room or shop filled with people sitting on Zabuton cushions on the floor surrounding tables, this divider was used to separate people for privacy.
It can be folded flat for convenience easy storage.
