This is an authentic Japanese stone turtle, Kame with a baby on top from mid.1900's.

Turtles are considered a symbol of good fortune,　long life in Japan due to its longevity and many temple, shrines and parks keep them in their ponds.

Also, Japanese garden using Penglai Mountains decorates turtles bucause in the back of which the island was carried. 

On the nice turtleshell, there is a baby turtle attached. It will be a perfect piece for outdoor and indoor.
