Antique Japanese Mizuya Tansu Kitchen Chest 2 Section (23M-E103)
This is a 2 section antique Japanese kitchen chest called Mizuya Tansu from late Meiji period (1890's-1910's). It was constructed using Cypress (Hinoki), Zelkova (Keyaki), and Cryptomeria (Suginoki) woods.
Originally kept in an old Japanese farm home, it was used to store dishes, pots of water, and eating utensils.
It would make a great statement in any room of the house as well as functionality as a storage unit.
