Description

This is an antique Japanese Buddhist altar temple Gong with stand, cushion and stricker from late Meiji (1890's-1910's). Gong is made of bronze and stand is made of lacquered wood.

It is used to accompany chants (sutras) and Buddhist ceremonies and has very peaceful sound.
