Vintage Japanese Kasane Isho Tansu 2 Section (23O-B213)

This is a vintage Japanese 2 section Kimono Tansu, clothing chest from early to mid. Showa (1950's).

It was made using 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood. It consists of 3 on top and 2 drawers on the lower section. The drawer interiors are all clean and drawer operation is smooth.

2 section can be divided into two parts since it is light and easilay transported.

Originally used for the storage of kimono in Japan, this chest would make a great clothes dresser or an elegant storage unit in any home decor.
