Antique Japanese Seto Hibachi Pot Scenery (23O-456)

This is an antique Japanese porcelain hibachi, brazier from early Showa period (1920's-1940's).  It is decorated with traditional Chinese landscape called Sansui.

The hibachi gets wider toward the top so easy to sit in a kneeling position also having thick rim, it is comfortable to lean hands to warm them up

Originally used as a hand warmer, there are multiple contemporary uses for this piece such for use as a planter or for display.
