Description

This is an authentic antique Japanese 2 section Kasane Tansu used for kimono and textile storage from Middle Meiji period ( 1880's - 1890's).  Made entirely of Paulownia wood (Kirinoki) with unique and beautiful handmade iron fittings which has Kiri Mon, paulownia pattern family crest and handles are Kakute (square) style. 

Every corner is decorated with Ogi, folding fan metal.

This versatile chest of drawers could be used separately or stacked together to complement any home decor.
