Vintage Japanese Temple Mokugyo Bell (22J-252)

This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist fish shaped wooden bell called Mokugyo used by monks from early Showa (1920's-1940's). The monks strike it during sutra chanting at temple.

It comes with an cushion and striker and has a great sound.
