This is an vintage Japanese miniature wooden accessory (Hina Dogu ) during Hina Matsuri, annual girl's day. It is from early Showa (1920's-1940's).

As part of the festivities, girls are given a set of ornamental dolls and accessories, which are put on display from February through March 3 — a ritual believed to bring about good health for the girls and are usually kept within the family for generations.

The handles of the tea chest bottom drawer are missing and the compartment with pull can not open (it may open but we don't want to force.

All are made as if there are real furniture. Due to age, there are some wear.
