This is an vintage Japanese miniature wooden accessory (Hina Dogu ) during Hina Matsuri, annual girl's day. It is from early Showa (1920's-1940's).

As part of the festivities, girls are given a set of ornamental dolls and accessories, which are put on display from February through March 3 — a ritual believed to bring about good health for the girls and are usually kept within the family for generations.

There are 6 bowls inside of trunk and each drawer of tansu chest open and they are made as if they were real. Due to age, there are some wear.

The size of chest of drawer is W 4.5" x D 2.25" x H 4.75"
