Vintage Japanese Hibachi (22J-200)

This is an antique Japanese blue and white porcelain hibachi, brazier from late Meiji period  (1890's-1910's). It has auscpious motif, Hyotan which have been considered to be symbols of good luck.

Originally used as a hand warmer, there are multiple contemporary uses for this piece such for use as a planter or for display.
