Antique Japanese Mizuya Tansu 1 Section (22M-E9)

This is an antique Japaense beautiful 1 sectional Mizuya Dansu, Kitchen chest from Middle Meiji period (1880's-1890's).  It is constructed out of Zelkova (Keyaki), Cypress (Hinoki) and Cryptomeria (Suginoki) woods.

Mizuya Dansu was most likely used in the kitchen of a Japanese household for the storage of plates, utensils and food items. This size of Mizuya is very practical and easy to find a spot for your home.
