Antique Japanese Manju Food Container (21M-610)

This is a rare antique Japanese wooden food storage box for Manju, traditional Japanese confection dated Bakumatsu (1850's-1860's).

The box is from Yamamoto Shoten, Yamamoto store from Inae village, Jino county. The box has nice Raden, mother-of-pearls decoration with Kamon, family crest. 

This kind of box is very hard to find and will be great to add to your collection.
