This is an authentic antique Japanese 2 section Kasane Tansu used for kimono and textile storage from Middle Meiji period ( 1880's - 1890's). Made of Paulownia wood (Kirinoki) with unique and beautiful handmade iron fittings. Handles are Mokko style.
This versatile chest of drawers could be used separately or stacked together to complement any home decor.
